The Hebrew Root of Faith – 119 Ministries

hello and welcome to another teaching from 119 ministries our ministry believes that the whole Bible is still true and directly related to our lives today if you would like to know more about what we believe in teach please visit us and test everything net we hope that you enjoy studying and testing the following teaching unfortunately the word faith is one of the most commonly misunderstood words in the Bible even in English language the word faith is used in so many ways that it really carries a very subjective understanding in a lot of ways it can be difficult to make sense of the word when attempting to define biblical words and makes sense to determine how a creator originally gave us the word in the language he chose to use the word for faith in the Hebrew is a muna it is often translated as faithfulness steadiness or trustworthiness we see the first occurrence in Exodus chapter 17 but Moses his hands grew weary so they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it while Aaron and her held up his hands one on one side and the other on the other side so his hands were steady a mana until the going down of the Sun and then we see it in Deuteronomy Deuteronomy 32 the rock his work is perfect for all his ways are justice a God of faithfulness and without iniquity just and upright is he the word emunah is linguistically rooted in the hebrew word among meaning secure or firm this word is used in Isaiah 22 23 for a nail that is fastened to a secure place Isaiah chapter 22 and they will fasten him like a peg in a secure place and he will become a throne of honor to his father's house Isaiah chapter 7 verse 9 uses a moan in an interesting way three times in one sentence demonstrating the linkage between firmness and faith Isaiah chapter 7 verse 9 if you are not firm alone in faith alone you will not be firm among at all the word for craftsman is a moon and is also linguistically rooted in the Hebrew word for faith a munna consider how this paints a picture for us a craftsman is so secure and firm in his knowledge or skill that he demonstrates that knowledge or skill by what he does perhaps now you can see how that is fitting with the biblical definition of faith in modern theology faith is loosely attached to hope or knowledge or hope based on knowledge this definition is merely a mental exercise and is not attached to any real change in behavior real biblical faith is one who is so secure and firm in what he understands his truth that he practices that truth that is why James said the following James chapter 2 but someone will say you have faith and I have works show me your faith apart from your works and I will show you my faith by my works you believe that God is one you do well even the demons believe and shudder do you want to be shown you foolish person that faith apart from works is useless was not Abraham our Father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar you see that faith was active along with his works and faith was completed by his works and the scripture was fulfilled that says abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness and he was called a friend of God you see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone and in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received them messengers and sent them out by another way for as the body apart from the spirit is dead so also faith apart from works is dead and this James was discerning the difference between the Greek understanding of faith and the Hebraic understanding of faith something that many still struggle with today in this James is not teaching us that our works saves us but simply iterating that true faith in the Word of God will be evidenced by those who desire to practice the Word of God and then do the Word of God that is why our Messiah said you shall know them by their fruits those in the faith will do the work set forth by our creator as outlined in the word John said something similar John starts off here by reminding us that our sins are covered should we sin however those that are truly in the faith will live a lifestyle or walk that resembles the Word of God first John chapter 2 my little children I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin which means breaking the law of God but if anyone does sin we have an advocate with the father Yeshua HaMashiach the righteous he is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world and by this we know that we have come to know him if we keep his Commandments whoever says I know him but does not keep his Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him but whoever keeps his word and him truly the love of God is perfected by this we may know that we are in him whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked all of this understanding of faith is rooted in the Torah Paul took note of this in Romans 10 6 in which he said but the righteousness based on faith says and then he proceeds to quote do to round me 30 to define the righteousness that comes from our faith since Paul quotes dude around me 30 we should perhaps read it to understand this righteousness Deuteronomy chapter 34 this commandment that I command you today is not too hard for you neither is it far off it is not in heaven that you should say who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us that we may hear it and do it neither is it beyond the sea that you should say who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us that we may hear it and do it but the word is very near you it is in your mouth and in your heart so that you can do it see I have set before you today life and good death and evil if you obey the commandments of Yahweh your God that I command you today by loving Yahweh your God like walking in his ways and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rule so according to Paul the righteousness of faith is rooted and obeying the commandments if you obey the commandments of Yahweh your God that I had command you today by loving Yahweh your guide by walking in his ways and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules again this is not to say that our obedience saves us our firm faith in the Word of God leads us to salvation by His grace however our firm faith if true faith also yields obedience to our creator's instructions faith is seen it is evidenced by our behavior if we have faith then those around us should see the Word of God in our actions Hebrews chapter 11 now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen faith is not what is hoped for faith according to the author of Hebrews is able to be seen it is not invisible it is not something that we're trying to get faith is the substance and the evidence it is through our faith that the law of God should become established in a part of our daily lives Romans chapter 3 verse 31 do we then make void the law through faith god forbid yeh we establish the law we hope that this teaching has blessed you and remember continue to test everything shallow it 1. I think Satan's biggest deception is that Christians no longer need to obey the Law, which includes God's dietary rules and His Holy Days. If 119Ministries created a video very specifically and directly to address this topic, then Torah following Christians could share the link with our deceived Christian friends. Something like "This is a (not "another" as it will likely be the 1st one they watch) teaching from 119 Ministries. (Add your opening "we believe" statement.) Many professing Christians believe that we are no longer under the Law, that Christ nailed it to the cross and did away with it. They also believe God's dietary laws are done away with; that all animals are permissible as food. Let's examine the matter closely, by seeing what the Bible says. This is perhaps the most important study you undertake since becoming a Christian. We first want to make clear that we are saved by grace. But should we continue to sin? In this teaching, we will use the Bible to answer the following:" (Put up list of things, such as What is sin, What is the Law, Who is the Law for, Why many Christians believe we no longer have to obey the Law, What did Jesus say concerning the Law, What were the examples set by the Apostles and converts, both Jews and Gentiles, and so on.)

I believe a Great Awakening is upon us, and people will be hungry for the Truth. Also, if God exposes the Satanic workings of the Roman Catholic Church, many of their adherents will leave it and desire the full knowledge of Yeshua and should learn about obedience to God via the Torah.

Adonai is doing amazing work through you. I praise Him and thank you all.

We need a tool very specific to Christians who love Jesus, but are ignorant about sin, obedience, and the Law. My outline is a jumping off point. What you come up with will be superior, I'm sure.

Of course you cover the topics in countless videos, but they are mixed with other related things, like faith, for instance, in this video. I'm talking about a very specific video targeted to Christians to convince them that they need to observe sundown Friday to sundown Saturday Sabbath, not eat pork and other unclean things, and show their love by obeying. Satan is a great deceiver.

BTW, your ministry is such a blessing! I used the Fellowship Finder to find a distant group, and then they let me know about a more local one. Thank you for all you do!

  2. Shalom. Nice videos.
The three religions have the headlines common between them , they are from the same only God.

  3. Gentiles spreading more and more lies! You literally have no life in your eyes! You prolly have unclean spirits operating in you!

  4. One under the Banner of God

Psalms 20:5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.

Psalms 60:4 You have given a banner to those who fear You, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah

Songs of Solomon 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, And his banner over me was love.

Isaiah 5:6 He will lift up a banner to the nations from afar, And will whistle to them from the end of the earth; Surely they shall come with speed, swiftly.

Isaiah 11:10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”

  5. Faith without Love is worthless.

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

1 Cor 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 Cor 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.

1 Pet 4:8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”

  6. One Word to rule them all and by God bind them.

John 12:47-48 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

Rev 19:11-15 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 John 6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Luke 7:47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

    Torah law
Leviticus 19:34 The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

    Gospel law
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

    Islamic law
the prophet Muhammad s.a.w said, “you will not go to heaven unless if you believe, and you would not believe unless if you love each other, shall i told you what if you do you will love each other? disclose salaam among you (hadith of muslim 1/74)

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

  7. Fastest way to get censored is to preach Judaism.. its why I lost my free speech on facebook twitter and bitchute. Nazi's preach on Bitchute, I'm censored for preaching Torah.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28 “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.

Deuteronomy 6:13 You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him, and shall take oaths in His name.

Deu 10:16-20 Therefore circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and be stiff-necked no longer. For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. You shall fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him, and to Him you shall hold fast, and take oaths in His name.

Ezekiel 16:8 “When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God.

Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.

Leviticus 26:15-17 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.

  8. Well done. I don't always completely agree with you on every subject in every video, but it's rare when I don't. Thanks for all your hard work putting these together.

  9. Can you do a translation of the word God please. I found somewhere that the word God came well after Jesus and is from Indian /Hindu origins. So I was wondering what the original Hebrew translation would of been… obviously the meaning would of been our understanding of ‘God’ but yeah just wondering what the original would of been . Be really interesting to no. Many thanks 🙏

  10. All will be taught by God,,, taught here is sound down into the ears.
Faith comes by hearing,,,,,, God talk to you personally.
This is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.
    Faith without works,,, ?
    Hear and don't do.
    Show faith by works,,, ?
    Hear and do,,,
Hear Yahweh's voice and obey so it will be well with you.
    Hebrews 11.
    Counted to you as righteousness,,

  11. what about the word "spiritually" seems to mean "pretend" lol….. as "oh no that verse means spiritually, we don't have to actually do that….."

  12. You Disabled comments for the BLACK HEBREW ISRAELITE video because you know YOUR INCORRECT!! 😂 blacks are the Israelites. We fit the Deuteronomy curses. But gentiles can be grafted in . Check out JFK quote on God being black. Whites killed him because he knew the real truth 🙂 remember continue to test and study everything. shalom

  13. Motherly guidance and firmness and teaching. The mother is the foundation the firmness required by every child that grows up to be a man or a woman every family every tribe with every society. In every animal or inset organisation the mother is the firmness, the stability of it the strength of it. Now at A craftsman is one who is fully and firmly skilled in what he does and what he teaches just like a mother that teaches her child. So the notion of firms is living, it is as dynamic as is any mother. Motherly guidance teaching is the foundation of all that we expect! And it is the convincing evidence at all that we expect to see experience.

  14. May YHWH remove the scales from the eyes and open the hearing of those whose stony heart needs to be replaced with a heart of flesh, and then they can walk in the truth of His Way. The Torah, YHWH's manual for a set apart life, is part of the revelation of YHWH's nature which is everlasting and unchanging. Faith is the beginning of righteousness, but obedience is the fruition of that faith.

  15. Who are the true people the set apart people the Hebrews the first five books of Tarah. surely they are not the people that's in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9

  16. Isa.7:9 >> (speak this) And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If you will not believe, surely, ye shall not be established>>2 Chron.20:20>>> And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah,
(that us,the negros) and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your Yah, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets (us, black folks) so shall ye prosper….(we rise) with Yah…
Yelp, you read from satan, book on that verse, that niv book….and these people don't even know it…..or they would read kjv of isa.7:9>> another truth from Yah, the faith he taught us, of our Forefathers, all written about in …
    Hebrews 11:1-40>>> (which is us)

  17. I’ve been praying about this and seeking scriptures to support this. Thank you for sharing. Blessings and shalom!

  18. James 2:15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works [Deuteronomy 10:18], is dead.

1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment [Hebrews 7:11-12; John 13:34; Hebrews 8; Matthew 9:17] I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

Psalm 56:5 All day they twist my words; All their thoughts are against me for evil.

Isaiah 6:9 And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ "

Jeremiah 7:27 “Therefore you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not obey you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you. 28 “So you shall say to them, ‘This is a nation that does not obey the voice of the Lord their God nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.' "

  19. Yes–so well said! Reminds me of the lilies of the field! Those Hebrews following Moses in the desert kept failing in their faith though Yah always kept his word.

  20. Un subscribed finally… you guys are shameless… I’m actually blown away you left up the comments finally. WHOOPS!

Anyone swallowing these boy’s tripe without checking their work is playing a deadly game.
